The Black Crane Difference

As the name suggests, Black Crane Kung Fu is a martial arts school. Tai Chi is a mandatory component of our system for instructors, and it provides benefits not only for health and longevity but enables smoother movement and enhances our fighting ability. Tai Chi Chuan originally was a martial art first and then was formalised into forms for health benefit for the masses.

Some people may only be interested in the health side of the form, and this is fine. However, each part of the form has a martial application and Tai Chi can enhance mobility, speed, balance and core strength. We have an extended understanding of the form, its history, applications and principles. As such when you do the tai chi form with us you will be taught not just to casually follow the movements but to understand to get the best benefit.

We have been teaching Tai Ch and Kung Fu in the Redlands area over the past 20 years under the guidance of Si Gung Neal Gilding.

NB: You will receive several emails during this course specifically for the ongoing learning activities presented
