Class training options
Birkdale
Casual Fees are for members who wish to pay as they go. This allows the member to train and pay as they are available rather than be committed to a class.

Monthly Fees are for members who are able to commit their time to training and would like to benefit from the additional training nights and discount for being a monthly member.
Those who pay monthly training fees are entitled to attend all normal training classes held within the schools but excludes Tai Chi & Instructors in training classes.

Additional training options
Private tuition is available for students who wish to learn at an accelerated rate. This would be scheduled as required but would be recommended on a regular schedule to see best results. Prices start at $75 per hour.

Please note that we also provide private tuition for people of any style which want to focus on specific skill improvements.
Group sessions are for either small groups of people (2+) or larger groups including corporate events. These sessions have a wide range of options available but not limited to
- Tai Chi
- Chi Kung or meditation
- Women’s Self Defence
- Special skill focus areas (such as for Medical or Security staff)
- Can be once off or done on a regular basis.
Costs depend on a range of factors such as preparation requirements, distance, length. Please enquire for more information.
Women’s Self Defence classes are run weekly on Saturday mornings at 7AM at Wavell Heights. These focus on critical core skills for women to overcome larger opponents.
Periodically we also run 8-week Women’s self defence courses.
This session is open to all skill groups and rotate through various skills over the weeks.
Sessions are 90 minutes and cost $20.
Ages 13-17
If you have children aged 13 to 17, you may be eligible to apply for a $200 Play On voucher. See HERE for more details.
Discounts on fees are available for families that have three or more school age students training in the same branch. See your Kwoon Instructor or the SiGung for more information.
Going through Financial Hardship? Existing students that are going through a period of financial hardship and still want to train can get in contact with their Kwoon instructor to organise another arrangement.
School Registration & Insurance Fees
To simplify the billing structure, we have incorporated the registration and insurance fees into the nightly and monthly training fee cost. This means you will benefit from all insurance and registration for the one price. No additional fees are required for registration and Insurance.
Black Crane Kung Fu Schools is an AKWF accredited school with full insurance for Public Liability and Professional Indemnity.
